‼️We are offering $100 for proof of Coffee Bean’s whereabouts today. Have you seen her? If you fostered or adopted her, or if you know something, please reach out.‼️
Coffee Bean was “rescued” by Humane Society of the Dunes in July 2023. She was originally at IACS Shelter Rescue Team (formerly called IACS Rescue) and Indianapolis Animal Care Services (IACS) before HSotD pulled her. The founder of the rescue is Jane Hullsiek and the rescue is based out of Chesterton in Northwest Indiana (NWI).
Coffee Bean was “rescue only” at the Indy shelter because she had a fractured femur and needed either cage rest to heal or possibly amputation. She was described as social, friendly, and easy to handle while at the shelter.
Humane Society of the Dunes pulled Coffee Bean and never posted any updates about her. Did she go to a foster home? Did she get the medical care she needed? Did Jane find her an adopter? Humane Society of the Dunes recently deleted their Facebook page, and emails asking for updates have recently been met with rudeness and hostility, with no updates provided.
Once again, we will pay $100 for proof of Coffee Bean’s whereabouts. Please share. She would be approximately 3 years old and may be missing her back left leg if she got the medical care she needed.
